Travis William Bereens II, age 24 of McBain, passed away in Ionia on Sunday, January 25, 2026. He was born on August 15, 2001 in Cadillac, MI to Jennifer (Simmons) Boven and Travis Beerens.

Travis enjoyed doing things such as gaming and hanging out with friends.

He is survived by his parents Jen (Tim) Boven and Travis Beerens, grandparents Joyce and Jerry Boven, Scott and Sue Beerens and Deb and Linda Pollard-Baker as well as many siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Alan and Patty Simmons, great-grandparents Herm and Laurdean Beerens and Pastor Wayne and Norva Simmons.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 at the Burkholder-Nielsen Funeral Home in McBain from 5:00-7:00. Memorial contributions can be made out to the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Burkholder-Nielsen Funeral Home in McBain.
