Thomas Fredrick Thompson, age 72 of Cadillac, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025 at the Wexford Senior Care Center. Thomas was born on March 27, 1953 in Flint, MI to Charles and Elizabeth (Seelye) Thompson. On March 12, 1977 Thomas entered into marriage with Kathleen Kay Kelley in Cadillac.

Thomas enjoyed outdoor activities, he loved to go golfing, fishing and traveling. He cherished his time spent with family.

He is survived by his wife Kathy Thompson of Cadillac, children; Mike (Annette) Thompson of Portage, Tamara (Tracy) Thompson of Cadillac, and Kelly (Lila) Thompson of Kalamazoo, grandchildren; Connor and Owen Thompson of Portage, Kaitlyn and Cora Thompson of Kalamazoo, in-laws; John Kelley of East Lansing, Bev Thompson of Kennewick, WA, and Nancy Thompson of McBain, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Cheryl Clark, brothers Charles Thompson, Pat Thompson, and David Thompson, nephews Brad Thompson and Christopher Thompson.

A memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, July 12 from 1:00-3:00 PM at the Burkholder Family Funeral Home in McBain.
