Theadore “Ted” Clark, 40, of Cadillac, passed away on December 31, 2025, after a courageous two-year battle with DSRCT cancer.
Ted was born on October 15, 1985, in Pontiac, Michigan, to Greg and Susan Clark. He graduated from Pine River High School in 2004 and proudly served his country for four years in the United States Marine Corps. In 2009, he married his wife, Ashley, and later earned a bachelor’s degree in business finance. A man of many talents, Ted worked in construction, as a diesel mechanic, and in management. He was also a dedicated entrepreneur, building and running the business Charming North alongside his wife.
Ted was a hard worker who deeply loved spending time with his family, especially playing with his children. He was passionate about fishing and hunting and found great joy in being outdoors. Above all, Ted loved his family and loved the Lord.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ashley; his children, Kaden, Olivia, Keira, and Tessa; his mother, Susan Clark; and his siblings, Ryan (Lauren) Clark and Brittany (Jake) Collins. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Sharon Wilson and Christine Ritchie.
He is further survived by his parents-in-law, Jeff and Cindy Branch and Steve and Cindy Gilman; his siblings-in-law, Clark (Hilary) Gilman, Angie Gilman, and Andrew Branch; and many beloved nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Ted was preceded in death by his father, Paul Gregory “Greg” Clark; his grandfathers, Paul Clark and William “Bill” Wilson; his aunts, Geri Mann and Tricia Johnston; and his cousin, Zachary Johnston.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Resurrection Life Church, located at 9127 44 ½ Road, Cadillac, Michigan. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. A luncheon will follow in the church café.
