Steven Dennis Ingraham Sr., age 73 of Marion, Michigan passed away July 20, 2026, at home surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was born on September 6, 1952 in Portland, Michigan to Richard Harrison Ingraham and Florence Rosemary Gibbs. Steve married Karon Ann Vanas on October 16, 1976 at the Marion Baptist Church.
Steve was a Jack of all trades. From his time at ITEC to his trucking days, he had a talent of building new inventions; very talented in so many different fields. He enjoyed fishing, building model cars, trains, planes, and boats. Steve was also the caretaker of Greenwood Cemetery with pride for many years.
Steve is survived by his wife Karon Ann Ingraham, children; Lorri Ann and E. J. Fisher of Marion, Richard H. Ingraham of Marion, Steven Dennis II and Tamara Ingraham of Cadillac, David John Ingraham of Lake City, Joseph Scott and Sally Ingraham of Lake City, Amanda Marie and Jeremy Cochran of Marion, adopted children Chantelle, Nick and Tatum Switalski of Marion. Steve was the proud grandpa of 17 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, siblings Gerald Ingraham of Lake Odessa, Marcia Bettinghouse of Lake Odessa, Paul Ingraham Sr. of Allegan, in-laws Sharon Anderson of Boon, Susie (Ray) Sutten of Marion, Michigan.
Steve was proceeded in death by his parents, his brother Fred Ingraham, his sister Carolyn Schwack, and his best friend Jay Williams.
Funeral services will be held at Burkholder-Nielsen Funeral home on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 2:00pm with pastor Taylor Brothwell officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, July 24, 2026 at the funeral home from 5:00pm-7:00pm and one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Marion and a luncheon will follow at the home of Karon Ingraham as a potluck and cookout. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help on funeral expenses. Arrangements are being made with Burkholder-Nielsen Funeral Home of McBain.
