Roger Darrow Nowland, age 59, went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 7, 2026 at his home in Marion surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 6, 1966 in Wayne County.

He was an avid car enthusiast, often seen driving his car, Rooster, around and winning many car shows. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and sports. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an amazing father and grandfather and was married 25 years to the love of his life, Tiffany.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Christy Lynn Nowland; his father Kenneth Darrow Nowland; and his mother Charlsie Maxine (Cross) Nowland.

He is survived by his wife, Tiffany (Salisbury) Nowland of Marion; Children, Ryan Nowland of Cadillac, Britianie (Josh) McFadin of Arkansas, Kendan Nowland of Marion, and Isabella Nowland of Marion; Grandchildren, Alexis, Nolan, Ryker, and Onyx, Lillian, and Leland McFadin. Siblings; Kenneth (Francine) Nowland of California, Barbara (Wes) Rack of Tennessee, Sue (Al) Kolhauf of Lake of the Pines, Mike (Kathy) Todd of Marion, and Ruth (Tim) Delpiero of Dearborn Heights; Father-in-law, Daniel Salisbury of Marion, Mother-in-law, Georgia Salisbury of Marion, and Brother-in-law, Josh (Heidi) Salisbury of Tustin as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Services are being held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Burkholder-Nielsen Funeral Home in McBain, Michigan. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm, followed by a Celebration of life at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family. A Luncheon will follow at the Venue in Marion, Michigan.
