Driscoll
March 7, 1940 – September 4, 2024
Robert Arthur Driscoll, known affectionately as Bobby, passed away on September 4, 2024, at the age of 84 at Autumnwood of McBain, Michigan.
Bobby dedicated 32 years of his life to Fischer Body of Lansing, Michigan, where his commitment and hard work left a lasting impression. After retiring, he found solace and joy in the simplicity of nature and outdoor activities. An avid fisherman, Bobby spent countless serene hours by the water, a hobby that not only fulfilled him but also brought him closer to nature's beauty. His home was a testament to his love for gardening, boasting well-groomed lawns and vibrant flowers that reflected his dedication and care.
A lifelong fan of the Michigan Wolverines, Bobby's enthusiasm for his team was infectious, bringing excitement and fun to any game day. He proudly completed his GED in 1982, sharing the memorable experience walking with his son Anthony at his graduation in 1982, marking a proud and uplifting moment in both of their lives.
Bobby leaves behind a loving family who cherished every moment spent with him: his wife, Joanne of 63 years; his children, Matthew (Cheryl) Driscoll, Anthony Driscoll, and Angela (Paul) Case; his grandchildren, Troy Driscoll, Samantha (David) Anderson, and Alec Case; and his great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Ponte and Hayden Anderson.
A private memorial service will be held to honor Bobby's life, allowing his family to reflect on the joy and warmth he brought into their lives. His legacy of passion, dedication, and love for life will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
