Robert Lee Chesser age 61, passed away February 7th, 2025, in McBain Michigan at home with his daughters by his side. Robert was born in Flint, Michigan on November 29th, 1963, to Ernest R. and Lottie L (Carson) Chesser. Robert loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter Celia. He also loved to lend a helping hand. Robert looked at his friends as if they were family. Robert was a true patriot who served his country with courage and distinction. Robert is survived by his children; Jennifer (Kevin) Vickery, of Florida, Matthew Lash, of Flint, Robbi (Brad) Chesser of McBain, Bobbi Chesser, of Cadillac. Granddaughter; Celia Bowen. Brothers; Jr. (Jane aka Vera) Chesser of Flint, Danny Chesser of Flint, and several Nieces and Nephews. Special Companion Dog; Dusty. Robert is proceeded in death by his parents; Ernest R. And Lottie L. Carson-Chesser, Brothers; Dennis and Kevin Chesser. Sister; Brenda A. Britton. Brother in law; Kirk L Britton. Sister in law; Rhonda Chesser. Son; George (Eddie) Firman. There will be a benefit dinner held at the L.C TapHouse February 12th from 3-6pm. Along with a silent auction during the dinner. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday February 15th at the Burkholder Family Funeral Home in McBain with Pastor Doug Officiating. Visitations will be held from 12 noon until the time of the service. Following services, a luncheon will take place at 10990 Forward Rd Marion, Mi 49665.
