Priscilla “Sally” Catts, age 97, a resident of the Falmouth area, entered her heavenly home on September 8, 2026. Sally was born on July 2, 1929, in Falmouth, Michigan to Hiram and Jennie (Betten) Smith. Sally married Raymond Catts on April 28, 1950, at the Aetna Christian Reformed Church; he preceded her in death on June 22, 1994. Sally loved and spent many hours working outside with her flowers in her yard as well as growing them in her greenhouse. She wrote and published a book, spent time crafting, playing piano and organ in area churches and always have a garage sale going on throughout the year. Sally is survived by her children, Roger (Karen) Catts, James (Chris) Catts, Sharon Schierbeek, Sandi (Dale) Sieting, grandchildren, Rick Catts, Jason Catts, Allison Catts, Jamie (Chuck) Roetman, Jennie (Alex) Zock, Joel (Kristen) Catts, Kari (Thomas) Sterk, David (Jamie) Schierbeek, Hannah Schierbeek, and Adam Schierbeek, Isaac (Sarah) Dieterman, Andrew (Ranessa)Dieterman, Rebecca (Stephane) Manzi and Ezra (Callie)Dieterman and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Sally was proceeded in death by siblings, Rudolph (Ann) Smith, Jake Smith, Fester (Helen) Smith, George (Elizabeth) Smith, Alice Smith, Grace Smith, son’s in-law Terry Dieterman, Pierre Schierbeek and in-laws Betty (Roger) Molhoek. A private family service will take place. Burial will be in the Clam Union Twp cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Northern Michigan Christian School.
