Phillip Benjamin Hunter age 83 of Moorestown passed away on July 12, 2023 at Autumnwood of McBain. He was born on January 21, 1940 in Kalamazoo to Harold and Clelia (Ferguson) Hunter. He married Christine Lynema on December 12, 1973 in Grand Rapids.

Phillip had worked as a high liner, ironworker, and a truck driver and crane operator. He held his journeyman's license. He loved the out of doors, riding quads, racing stock cars, and most of all he loved his family.

He is survived by his wife; Christine Lynema Hunter of Moorestown, sons; Rick Hunter of Elsie, Dan Marston of Grand Rapids, Louie (Cindy) Ward of Fowler, Nathan (Megan) Hunter of Whitehall, daughters; Lori (Terry) Rose of Owosso and Deborah (Kelly) Armstrong of Cutlerville. He has twelve grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild along with a brother; Bruce (Donna) Hunter of Kalamazoo.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Harold and Clelia Hunter, brother; Harold Hunter Jr., son; Jimmy Hunter, grandson; Chad Nobach and a granddaughter; Nichole Blacker.
