Nixie "Jerry" Lasater, born August 27, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan, passed away peacefully November 3, 2024 at Autumnwood of McBain. Jerry was free spirited, kind hearted and meek. He enjoyed the company of all who surrounded him throughout his life, especially his family who he loved dearly. He enjoyed listening to music, playing his guitar, fishing and snacking on Better Made Potato Chips. Jerry was easy to love and will be sorely missed by all he touched. May he rest in peace.

Jerry is survived by his brothers, Charles Richard Lasater and Wiliam Michael Lasater, sister Judy Marie (Robert) Kowalski, and sister-n-laws Gretchen Lasater and Janet Lasater. He was a proud uncle to Alma (Jake) Cannon, Thea (Drew) Perzinski, Mikey (Gretel) Klein, Mark Lasater, and Susan (Veiko Valencia) Lasater and great uncle to Raymond, Sam and Emma Klein.

Jerry is preceded in death by his loving parents Nixie "Nick" and Marie (Richmond) Lasater and sweet sister Billie Mae McNutt. The family is being served by the Burkholder Family Funeral Home in McBain.
