Margie Mae Low age 90 of Merritt, it is with a sad and heavy heart we share that our precious momma has passed into the arms of Jesus and united with her sweet heart, Ken Low, who passed away this past April. They were married on June 19, 1954 at the Merritt United Methodist Church. Margie was born on December 18, 1934 in Butterfield Township to Hartley and Luta (Goodwin) Davis. Margie was a big personality and had a bigger heart. Everyone was a friend and she adopted many bonus children over the years. She is best known for her antics involving dressing up as a bag lady and bringing her kids a disgusting sack lunch to school. Her greatest love was her Lord and Savior, her husband of 70 years, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Margie is survived by her daughters; Laurie Marie Rhodes, Michele J. Fox, and Ida (Carl) VandenBoss, grandkids; Brooke (Ken) Arenouts, Emillee (Drew) Wilson,, Aqua Wilson, Taylor (Nick) Crane, Kenneth (Melanie) VandenBoss, Derrick VandenBoss, 3 step grands; Alice Rhodes, Patrick Rhodes, and Cathryn Rhodes, great grands; Chase, Bella, Bear, Brie, Juniper, Oliver, Blayke, Holland, Sam, Nora, Julian, and Job, brother-in-law; Leon Low and sister-in-law; Bonnie Davis, and many other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Hartley and Luta (Goodwin) Davis, sister; Bonnie (Bill) Hughston, brothers-in-law; Hartley (LaVonne) Davis and Alfred Davis.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring. Burial will take place in the Holland Township Cemetery East. Margie Mae lived out her life and was an inspiration to all she met. She lived life with no regrets and we are left with only sweet memories.
