Lois Elaine VanderHeide (age 77). Lois loved the Lord and on August 12,2024, He took her by the hand and led her to glory. She is walking without help, has no pain or fears, and is singing praises to her Savior. She was the daughter of Harold and Margaret, sister to Joanne (Jerry) Terpsma (deceased); Esther (Larry) LeFebre; Ruth VanderHeide; Hilda (Dave Schut); Sara (Carl) Marr; Mary Ennenga. She will be remembered by nieces' nephews, and her special friend, David Hoekstra. Lois made the most of difficult circumstances, was positive, and often thought of others and their needs. Her quick wit, love for a good joke, and creativity endeared her to many. She was one of a kind, strong, lovable and loved. After a short career in teaching, she held several other jobs, including many years at Amway hotel food prep. Lois fought the good fight. She finished the race. She kept the faith. She received the crown of righteousness. Graveside gathering for family and friends will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 16, 2024 at the Riverside Township Cemetery.
