Lisa Joy Proctor, age 53 of Marion, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Samaritas Senior Living in Cadillac. She was born March 2, 1971 to Jerry and Joyce (Eling) Boven in Zeeland, MI. She entered into marriage with John Proctor on February 16, 1996 in Marion.

Lisa was a lifetime member of Vogel Center Christian Reformed Church, she was engaged in many capacities there such as, doing the custodial work and was a youth group leader for many years. She worked at Autumnwood of McBain as a Dietary care worker, milked cows at Autumn Vista Dairy as well as caring for the calves at Brian Boven's farm. Lisa was also employed as a secretary at Classic Ford. She was involved in volunteering at Care Net, and was a character in the parade at Autumnwood. Lisa's hobbies included scrap booking, making blankets, and laminating obituaries for family members.

Lisa is survived by her husband John Proctor of Marion, children; Tom (Amanda) Loucks of McBain, Alex Loucks of Cadillac, Noah Proctor of Elgin, Ill, Samantha Proctor (Manuel Sabbatis) of Cadillac, 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, siblings; Dale Boven of California, Brian Boven of McBain and Tim Boven of Marion.

Lisa is preceded in death by her son Christopher Loucks, grandparents Walter and Janet Eling, Garret and Elsie Boven.

Funeral services will take place at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 13 at the Vogel Center CRC with Rev. Adam Barton officiating, visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. A luncheon will be provided at the church after the service. In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions can be made out to the family.
