Dear Family and Friends, It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of Keith Hamilton Ronk, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who passed away on Monday, June 15, 2026, at the age of 55. Keith was born on September 03, 1970, in Cadillac, Michigan, to Donald and Velma (Sisson) Ronk. He spent his childhood and school-age years in Cadillac, where he and Connie (Schultz) Ronk started their family. Son Zachary and Daughter Jennifer. Keith was so proud of his children and loved being a Papa.

Keith was an incredibly hard worker for most of his life until strokes caused him to retire early. Some of his favorite jobs that he held were Century Sun Metal Treating in Traverse City, MI and ABC Warehouse in Cadillac, MI. Keith was easy to make friends with and at his job was no different. Keith made lifelong friendships with many of his co-workers.

Some of Keith's favorite things were football (the Steelers of course). Keith loved the Steelers at an early toddler age, his sisters say. Which fueled his football passion in school. Where I was told that he was quite a "Stud" (told by Keith). This passion followed him throughout his life, after high school he played on an amateur Northmen adult football league and helped coach Pop Warner. Then in later life he coached the Steelers (from his couch). Keith's other passions were his many Cowboy boots (over 30 different pairs) and his Cowboy hats. He knew how to dress!

Keith was preceded in death by his father, Donald, mother Velma and siblings Lenny, Donald Jr and sister Jennifer. 

He is survived by his wife Joy (Scudder). His son Zachary and bonus daughter Marisela. Their 5 children, Ezekiel, Eloni, Malana, Selena and Gabriel. His daughter Jennifer and her two sons Dexter and Wyatt and their mother, Connie Schultz. Stepdaughter Kaelah Mckay. His extended family includes Sister Margaret (Maggie) Crawford, Sister Paula Dewey and husband Ted. Sister Becky Ronk and sister Tracey Ronk. His beloved nieces and nephews, Lester Gurden Jr., Trevor Gurden, Jeremy Gurden, Elliot Gurden, Leigh Gurden, Michael Dershem, Malachi Dershem, D'Artagnan Dershem, Anilloa Dershem, Natalie Schauer, Jacob Lowing, Rachel Lowing, and a host of great niece’s great great nieces, great nephews and a couple great great nephews,

one being his namesake. Also, more cousins than you can shake a stick at. Really, if you throw a rock, you would hit one..

Keith's love transformed the lives of everyone he encountered. He had a remarkable ability to connect with people with his laughter, smile and down-to-earth sensibility. He will be missed by so many.

Keith has chosen to be cremated and it was his wish not to have a funeral or viewing. Instead, we will be having a celebration of life for Keith on July 11th at the Revival Center Church located at 5676 M-55 Cadillac, MI from 1-6. Please come and celebrate the life and love of Keith Ronk.
