Jerry M. Sikkema age 80 of Marion passed away on January 18, 2024 at Munson Healthcare-Cadillac. Jerry was born on April 2, 1943 in Grand Rapids to Elton and Hilda (Ouwinga) Sikkema. He married Virginia Sutten January 25, 1964 at Highland Christian Reformed Church.

He had worked at Cadillac Rubber and Plastics for over 35 years. He enjoyed cutting wood, loved his restored Farmall F-20, spending time with his grandkids and teaching all his nieces and nephews how to drive. He was always helping other people out.

He is survived by his wife; Virginia Sikkema of Marion, two sons; Larry (Lori) Sikkema of Marion and Wade (Becky) Sikkema of Ravenna, grandchildren; Thomas and Patrick Sikkema and Trevor, Drew, and Kyle Sikkema and his fiancée Sarah VerSluys. Also surviving are his siblings and in-laws; Carol Hoogeveen, Jan (June) Brinks, Ron (Beverly) Sikkema, Sue Ann (Steve) Meeuwenberg, Norma Sikkema, Bonnie Sikkema, Linda Sikkema, Ruby Hilts, Albert (Susan) Sutten, Denise Sutten, Bonnie (John) Asby, Ellis Sneary and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by; parents, brothers; Sidney, Peter and Duane Sikkema, in-laws; John Hoogeveen, Robert Hilts, Jim Sutten, and Connie Sneary,

Services will be held graveside at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 18 at the Storey Cemetery in Marion, MI, fellowship will follow at the Winterfield Township Hall in Marion.
