Dorothy Rose Linstrom, passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at Curry House Assisted Living. She was 88.

Dorothy was born on June 6, 1937 in Cadillac to Emery and Mary (Kardos) Blackmer. She was a loving and nurturing mother and grandmother, whose greatest joy in life was her family. Her home was a place of togetherness, where time spent with loved ones was always cherished. She found happiness in the simple moments—gathering around the table, enjoying board games and playing cards with family and friends.

She will forever be missed by her daughter, Kari (Jeff) Schonert of McBain, her son, Carl (Christine) Linstrom of Florida, and her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Evelyn.
