Dan Edward LaRoche, age 75, of Lake City passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 17th, 2026 due to cancer-related complications.

Dan was born June 25th, 1950, to Eileen and Norman “Bud” LaRoche in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dan worked in the construction industry for most of his life and enjoyed building things. He thoroughly enjoyed riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles, attending multiple motorcycle rallies in numerous states. Dan was an adventurer who enjoyed traveling. He also loved gardening, camping, playing cards and spending time with family and friends whenever he could. He was an avid dog lover.

He attended The Tabernacle church in Buckley and Cadillac, where his faith flourished in recent years. All that knew him, knew his love for the Lord.

He leaves behind his brother, Shawn LaRoche, two daughters, Dawn Mizera (John Dejak) of Concord, NC, and Heather (Tony) Luciow of Cadillac, MI; and his son, David (Rose) LaRoche. He is also survived by grandchildren: D. Jay LaRoche, Heather Crump, Haley Wade, David Mizera, Rylee LaRoche, Melody LaRoche and Mason LaRoche; and five great grandchildren as well as his life-long love Linda LaRoche and her family. Dan was preceded in death by brothers, Dan “Danny” Tithof and Jeff LaRoche.
