Dale Richard Laarman age 62 of Marion passed away at his home on July 29, 2024. He was born on November 4, 1961 in Cadillac to Ivan and Marjorie (Koetje) Laarman.

In 1982 he graduated from Northern Michigan Christian School in McBain. He had worked as a truck driver for Country Fresh and Melody Farms. He was an avid fan of snowmobiling and was a member of the Marion Snowmobile Club. He enjoyed going to the International 500 races. He also enjoyed dirt bike riding, drag racing at Kaleva, his 1972 purple Nova and hunting. For many years he loved to play softball.

He is survived by his daughter; Chana Laarman of Cadillac, fiancee; Kara Ellens of Marion and sister; Judy (Reg) Jenema of Marion.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother; Bill (Lynn) Laarman.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the Vogel Center Christian Reformed Church with Rev. Adam Barton officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to service time at the church. A luncheon will follow the service at the church and the service will be streamed on the Vogel Center Christian Reformed Church Facebook.
