Colleen R. Naumann passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 19, 2023. Colleen was born at her family's home in Detroit on June 13, 1934 to Collins and Minnie Cleaver. She graduated from Pershing High School in 1952. She met Gary "Jake" Naumann at a party with mutual friends and they were married in 1953.

Much of her life was spent in the Detroit suburb of Berkley. Not many people remember that Colleen had a budding Avon business in the 60's. She could be found driving around town in her light blue VW Beetle visiting her customers. Her children remember riding with her on those deliveries and mischievously blowing the Beetle's loud AWOOGA! horn while their mom was inside a client's house making a delivery. She remained in the Berkley area until she and Jake retired in the early 1990's to their cabin in Falmouth, Michigan. As a wonderful wife and mother, Colleen always put family first.

Colleen and Jake were active in a GoldWing motorcycle group for many years, traveling across the country. They also enjoyed snowmobiling together. She spent her time gardening, doing crafts, and cooking. Colleen was a warm, welcoming and very sociable person. She was a member of the Prosper Christian Reformed Church in Falmouth.

As a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Colleen leaves her memory with her survivors , husband of 70 years Gary "Jake" Naumann, sons; Gary (Kathy) Naumann, Larry (Donna) Naumann, Jerry Naumann, and daughter; Sharon (Mark) Haines, nine grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren.

Colleen is preceded in death by her parents, brothers; George Robert and Richard Cleaver, and sister, Charlotte Twardokus.

Colleen's family has entrusted the Burkholder Family Funeral Home in McBain with the care of her final arrangements. There will be a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make the memorial contributions out to the Prosper Christian Reformed Church.
