Our precious, loving Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma went to meet her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 26, 2026. She was 91. She was born to Gerrit and Ethel Jenema on December 6, 1934. She graduated from McBain Public High School.
In 1956, she married the love of her life, Marvin Veddler. She became his lifelong partner in the farming industry for 36 years. She took over the Pioneer Seed Corn business after her husband, Marv, passed away.
Bonnie lived a life deeply rooted in her Christian faith. She would attend Bible study groups and prayer groups at Highland CRC, where she was a member most of her life. She was a strong prayer warrior for everyone she knew. She played the organ in church earlier in her life. She enjoyed playing her clavinova and piano at home and at Green Acres.
She enjoyed baking cookies and bars, freezing applesauce and corn for the family. She would fix meals or have a snack for anyone that stopped by. If there was a family in need in the church or community, she would fix a meal and bring it to them. She loved children and volunteered to mentor many children at the Marion Schools. She was a loving and devoted Wife, Mother, Grandma and Great-Grandma. Her eyes would light up and a big smile on her face when the great-grands came over. Most of all she loved the Lord and wanted everyone she knew to have a personal relationship with Jesus.
She survived by her five children, Sherry Oudman (Brian), Terry (Dawn) Veddler, Deb (Gary) VanSolkema, Dale (Donna) Veddler and Diane (Jerry) Nemeth. She was blessed with wonderful Grandchildren Justin Oudman, Karianne (Zach) Smith, Jordan (Brooke) Oudman, Tera Veddler, Dana (Michael) Stahl, Brandon Veddler, Shandel Banks, Derek (Paige) VanSolkema, Nathan (Lacy) Veddler, Brittany (Cory) DeZeeuw, Brooke (Kyle) Benthem, Kara (Scott) Spitzley and Logan (Kara) Nemeth. God also blessed her with 19 Great-Grandchildren Henrie, Sutton, Townes, Riggs, Quinton, Rosie, Cattelaya, Sailor, Cutler, Crewer, Wyatt, Natalie, Owen, Maddie, Bram, Kolbie, Taylor, Knox, and Kolsen. Sister in-law Karen Jenema, Brother in-law Don Meekhof and many loving Nieces and Nephews.
Her husband Marv preceded her in death along with a baby Granddaughter, parents Gerrit and Ethel Jenema, Lucas and Johanna Veddler, Brothers and Sisters in-law, Donald and Geneive Jenema, Merlin and Mable Jenema, Leonard and Evie Jenema, Bob and Gladys Beerens, Maxine Meekhof, Gordon and Vivian Jenema, Jerry and Jeanette DeHaan, Menno and Bertha Bouma, Nephew Greg Jenema, Nieces Sandy and Kimberly Jenema.
